When people think of Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP), they often envision the notable car releases like the Next Generation Tamaraw, the Hilux, and the Fortuner.
While it may seem like a reasonable thought, people often forget that TMP also has a great track record when it comes to their advocacies. They aren’t just about cars, they are also about supporting the environment and nurturing the talents and skills of hardworking people.
Since its launch last December, customers have patiently waited for a chance to drive their own Next Generation Tamaraw. At last, authorized dealerships of Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) have begun rolling out the first batch of vehicles earlier this month, kick starting the “Abante, Posible” journey of Filipinos nationwide.
Built on Toyota’s global IMV platform, the Tamaraw is currently available in diesel variants, with a starting price of P937,000 for the 2.4 Dropside DSL M/T. Gas variants will become available at a later date. Its stock variants, in particular – the Dropside, Utility Van, and Aluminum Cargo – offer micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) the workhorse they need to advance toward new possibilities.
