SMC Waives Tolls for Government Vehicles in Typhoon Uwan Response

San Miguel Corporation (SMC), through its infrastructure arm, has implemented toll-free access for marked government vehicles mobilized for relief and recovery operations in areas affected by Typhoon Uwan, in line with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s directive to ensure the unimpeded movement of government responders across Luzon.

SMC Chairman and CEO Ramon S. Ang said the company’s toll operations teams are coordinating closely with the Department of Transportation (DOTr) and the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) to facilitate the implementation of the President’s order.

The SMC Holiday Tradition: Your Toll Fees Will be Waived During Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve

Keeping up with the Christmas spirit, San Miguel Corporation (SMC), through SMC Infrastructure, is waiving the toll fees at expressways this Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, making way for a smoother and hassle-free travel in light of the usual Holiday rush.

This is in line with SMC’s annual Holiday tradition, giving drivers the chance to save up on the fees and have a streamlined travel while trying to make it on time to their Noche Buenas.
