DIG OR DISS: The new Porsche 911 Turbo S

Yellow-Porsche-991-Turbo-S

As a very potent concoction, this car may not stand out in a crowd like a Ferrari 458 or Audi R8 V10+ but has the remarkable ability of pulling their pants down on track, so to speak. Porsche have once again managed to use their engineering know how and mechanical genius to make this one of the fastest point-to-point cars on sale today. Here’s a very smart looking Yellow Turbo S that was photographed in the perfect location for the cars striking colour, a factory 40 miles west from Paris.

PIMPED GHOST

If you are a villain based out of the UK, you’re going to love this car. It’s a Rolls-Royce Ghost, a vehicle frequently piloted by the rich, powerful, and villainous, but that’s not all. Elite Wrap covered it in “True Blood” red, and dropped a big-ass Union Jack on the roof and hood. The end result is a car that immediately draws eyes, throw’s all of the Royce’s restraint right out the window, and should probably be armored. Seriously, that and pop-up machine guns are pretty much all this car needs. Source: Complex Rides

Michael Schumacher is now in a “stable” condition, his manager Sabine Kehm said. However, Kehm warned that seven time world champion Schumacher, who turns 45 on Friday, remains in a “critical” condition. She did deny reports the former Ferrari and Mercedes driver had fallen from his skis last Sunday because he was going too fast. “Michael was not going very fast,” Kehm insisted. “But unfortunately as he took the turn, we assume, he hit the rock and was catapulted upwards and then struck a rock head-first.”

WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE!

espresso-veloce-seri-6w

We’ve wanted to start the year with something very cool: a coffee machine inspired by the engine of a Formula 1 car. Called Espresso Veloce Serie Titanio V12, the new coffee machine is made from race-ready materials like titanium, aluminum and stainless steel. The V12 coffee machine will be limited to only 500 units and is priced at about $16,500. Next to the V12 version, the guys over Espresso Veloce are also offering a V8 and a V10 engine, plus a Serie Carbonio Nero black carbon-fiber version for all three of them. The new coffee machine is made from more than 90 precision components machined from solid billets, while the “exhaust pipes” are made from titanium and deliver the coffee into stainless steel ’piston’ cups’. What’s even cooler is that the tips are blued with heat – just like you see on the racing car’s exhaust systems. All the other elements of the coffee machine are made using high-grade aerospace alloys, similar to those used in contemporary Grand Prix engines.
