The cabin is a little bland but comes nicely equipped with leather sport seats, carbon fiber trim and a meaty steering wheel. There’s also a push-button ignition, metallic accents and a large infotainment display. Power will likely be provided by a 5.0-liter V8 engine that produces 460 bhp (343 kW). This could enable the coupe to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds before hitting a top speed of roughly 300 km/h (186 mph).

Audi boss Rupert Stadler confirmed that Audi Sport Quattro Laserlight concept will indeed make their way into production, like with the 2015 BMW i8, but not any time in the near future in the U.S. at least. This is because the NHTSA has to approve all new automotive technology before an automaker can fit it on vehicles, and it has yet to even consider this technology for U.S.-bound vehicles. In fact, the NHTSA still has to make a final ruling on Audi’s LED Matrix Display headlights, which we saw on the upcoming 2015 Audi A8, so we suggest not holding your breath on the Audi’s Laserlight setup just yet.

Chrysler decided to reveal the 2014 Dodge Dart Blacktop ahead of its official Detroit Auto Show debut. Based on the mid-level Dart SXT with Rallye Appearance Group, the Blacktop is the latest of Dodge’s special-edition models featuring unique exterior and interior trim from the dark side. On top of the Rallye Appearance Group package, Blacktop models get unique 18-inch gloss black aluminum alloy wheels, gloss black mirror covers, which should complement the Rallye’s dark-tinted projector headlights and blacked-out grille. Despite the name, the Dart Blacktop will be available in multiple colors, including: Redline Red, Header Orange, Blue Streak, Granite Crystal Metallic, Billet Silver, Pitch Black, and Bright White.

Much like the iconic yellow cabs of New York City, England has its own well-known form of pay-as-you-go transportation in its largest city—the LTC “black cab.” For nearly a century, the London Taxi Company has supplied the famous Hackney carriages to London and other major British cities. However, there’s a new cab on its way from Nissan, slated to appear on British roads near the end of 2014.
