The New Changan CS15
One of Changan Philippines’ best-selling models, the CS15 is the brand’s entry-level subcompact crossover that offers a compelling combination of modern features, competitive pricing, and exceptional value for money.
Designed to meet the needs of young first-time vehicle owners, the CS15 offers a spacious and versatile solution for daily urban drives and weekend out-of-town road trips with families and friends. It caters to customers who are looking for a vehicle that is functional, reliable, feature-packed, and at the same time, cost-efficient.
Exterior-wise, the CS15 maintains its tasteful, bold, and modern exterior design. It consists of several exterior features such as the Automatic Halogen Headlights with LED Daytime Running Lights, Moonroof, Functional Satin Silver Roof Rails, and Rear Fog Lights.
One of the main exterior change points for the refreshed CS15 is its old Chrome Slats Design that has been changed into a Multi-Dimensional Rhombic Grille Design. On top of this, its 17-inch Two-Toned Alloy Wheels have also been changed to 17-inch Gunmetal Alloy Wheel Design for a sportier look.
Right on the inside, the CS15 continues to be proud of its simple, functional, yet spacious ergonomic design. The interior is endowed with soft and premium materials, perfectly matching its Multi-Functional Leather Steering Wheel. Additionally, the model sports several interior features such as the 6-way adjustment for driver seat, 7-inch Digital Instrument Cluster, 4-Speaker Sound System, Air Conditioning with Pollen Filter, Parking Sensors with Rear View Camera, and Cruise Control.
For the refreshed version, passengers are sure to have an elevated and enjoyable riding experience now that the CS15’s infotainment has been upgraded to a 10-inch Touchscreen Infotainment System with Bluetooth Connectivity with Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto function. Furthermore, the New CS15 also sports two (2) USB ports (Type A and C) for the front and one (1) USB (Type C) for the rear vs. its previous one (1) USB port (Type A). Lastly, the vehicle now comes with a Rear Air Conditioning Vent, delivering better comfort for its rear passengers.
In terms of its engine and performance, powering the CS15 is a 1.5L BlueCore Petrol Engine, mated with a 5-Speed Wet Type Dual Clutch Transmission (WDCT) that produces 105 horsepower and 145 Nm of torque, making it a perfect daily companion for city drives.
When it comes to safety, Changan stays at the forefront of prioritizing safety at all times. Family trips in and out of the metro are ensured to be safe, thanks to the CS15’s array of safety features. Some of these include Driver, Front Passenger, and Front Side Airbags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Brake Assist System, Hill Hold Control (HHC), Front Ventilated Disc Brakes & Rear Disc Brakes, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Rear Child Safety Lock, ISOFIX, Central Door Lock, and Driver Seatbelt Reminder.
The CS15 is available in four (4) colors: Glitter Galaxy Silver Gray, Red, Shiny Pearl Black, and Snowy White.
