BYD Cars Philippines successfully capped its participation in the IronMan 70.3 Davao, with both its celebrity and corporate triathlon teams delivering impressive Top 8 finishes in one of the country’s premier endurance events.
Out of over 900 participants, the BYD Celebrity Relay Triathlon team featuring Wil Dasovich (Swim), Alden Richards (Bike), and Nico Bolzico (Run), secured a Top 8 finish out of 32 teams in the Male Relay Category, showcasing endurance, teamwork, and consistency throughout the race.
This performance capped off an impressive week for the team, as Wil arrived in Davao via the ‘Drive Electric. Love Pinas.’ route, a cross-country journey powered by BYD and ACMobility in partnership with the Department of Tourism to promote electrification throughout the Philippines.
While the BYD Triathlon Team, composed of two-time Olympic Swimmer, Jasmine Alkhaldi, endurance athlete and the first Filipina to conquer the Worldman Championships, Jennifer Uy, and seasoned international triathlete,Jens Jacobsen, also turned in a strong performance, finishing Top 8 out of 34 teams in their division.
