MG Philippines, a leading automotive brand committed to innovation and community development, proudly announces its partnership with the Fort Bonifacio Development Foundation, Inc. (FBDFI) to provide deserving college students with scholarships covering their daily expenses through monthly allowance.
As part of this partnership, MG Philippines has donated ₱1,000,000 (One Million Pesos) to support the Bayani Scholarship Program—reinforcing the brand’s mission to uplift communities and make a lasting impact on the lives of young Filipinos.
This initiative reflects MG Philippines’ strong commitment to giving back and investing in the next generation of Filipino leaders. By enabling students to pursue higher education without the burden of financial constraints, MG Philippines and FBDFI are helping turn dreams into tangible opportunities for success.
In the third batch of the Bayani Scholarship Program, MG’s beneficiaries consist of five first-year college students pursuing degrees in Information Systems, Psychology, Elementary Education, Tourism Management, and Hospitality Management across institutions such as Taguig City University, the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, and the Institute of Creative Computer Technology.
Coming from public high schools within Taguig and nearby communities, each scholar has faced significant financial and family-related challenges—yet continues to demonstrate determination, discipline, and a strong commitment to completing their college education.

Selection into the FBDFI scholarship program is based not only on academic potential, but also on character. Scholars are chosen for their grit, resilience in the face of adversity, and perseverance to finish college despite personal and financial hardships—values that align closely with MG Philippines’ belief in progress through strength, responsibility, and opportunity.
“We believe that education is a powerful catalyst for change,” said Wei Wei Zhang, President of MG Philippines. “Through this partnership, we hope to provide young Filipinos not only with financial support, but also with encouragement to keep pushing forward, overcome challenges, and build better futures for themselves and their families.”

The scholarship program covers the monthly allowance of selected students for their college education. Beneficiaries will also receive academic guidance, mentorship, and access to development programs aimed at strengthening both professional skills and personal growth.
“Partnering with MG Philippines allows us to extend our support to students who, despite limited access to higher education, show exceptional resilience and potential,” said Ezeviel Frago, Community Relations Officer of Fort Bonifacio Development Foundation, Inc. (FBDFI). “Together, we are opening doors to opportunity and helping shape a generation that will give back to their communities.”
Through initiatives like this, MG Philippines continues to demonstrate that corporate success goes hand in hand with community development—proving that a brand’s impact extends beyond vehicles to creating meaningful, lasting change in people’s lives.
