At the Japan Mobility Show 2025, Honda Motor Co., Ltd. redefined the boundaries of innovation, presenting a sweeping vision that spans land, sea, skies, and even outer space.
In a keynote address, Toshihiro Mibe, Director, President and Representative of Honda, unveiled world premieres and breakthrough technologies that embody Honda’s global brand slogan: “The Power of Dreams — How we move you.”

A New Era of Electrification: The Honda 0 Series
Honda introduced the Honda 0 Series, a next-generation EV lineup created from “zero,” guided by the unique development philosophy of “Thin, Light, and Wise.” Defying the convention that EVs must be “thick and heavy,” the 0 Series delivers sleek design, spacious interiors, and advanced intelligence.

- Honda 0 Saloon: A flagship low-floor EV with sporty styling and unexpectedly spacious cabin.

- Honda 0 SUV: A mid-size SUV offering panoramic visibility and flexible interior design.

- Honda 0 α (Alpha): World premiere of a sleek SUV prototype, blending urban sophistication with outdoor versatility. Global sales begin in 2027, starting in Japan and India.
All models feature ASIMO OS, Honda’s proprietary vehicle operating system, enabling continuous updates and “ultra-personal optimization” for each driver.
Expanding the Premium Horizon: Acura RSX Prototype

Making its Japan debut, the Acura RSX Prototype became the first model to adopt Honda’s independently developed EV platform. With ASIMO OS at its core, the RSX Prototype learns from each driver, offering a deeply personalized mobility experience.
Beyond Automobiles: Motorcycles and the Joy of Driving

Honda also premiered the EV OUTLIER Concept, a radical electric motorcycle that envisions two-wheeled mobility beyond 2030. With in-wheel motors on both front and rear wheels, it embodies Honda’s commitment to creating new value through electrification.
Reaffirming its timeless philosophy, Honda emphasized that the “joy of driving”—the sense of oneness between driver and machine—remains central, regardless of powertrain.
Compact Excitement: Super-ONE Prototype & Prelude

The Super-ONE Prototype, a compact EV, captured attention with its playful spirit and exclusive Boost Mode, which simulates the visceral thrill of engine-powered driving while delivering EV acceleration. Launch begins in Japan in 2026, followed by Asia and the U.K.

Alongside it, Honda showcased the new Prelude, a specialty sports model that carries forward Honda’s unrelenting sports mindset into the electrified era.
Intelligent Technologies: Next-Generation ADAS
Honda highlighted its progress in next-generation Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). By 2027, these systems will allow vehicles to autonomously manage acceleration and steering, offering drivers peace of mind and reducing the burden of travel. Testing is already underway on U.S. public roads.

Mobility Without Limits: Land, Sea, Skies, and Space

As a comprehensive mobility company, Honda displayed innovations across every frontier:
- Micromobility vehicles for last-mile convenience.
- eVTOL aircraft to make air mobility more accessible.
- HondaJet, continuing to expand business aviation.
- Sustainable Rockets, with a successful launch and landing test in Hokkaido in June 2025, marking Honda’s first step into outer space.
The Power of Dreams in Action
Closing his address, Mibe emphasized Honda’s unwavering commitment: “Each and every Honda associate, with dreams and passion, will continue taking on new challenges to carve out the future of Honda and create value only Honda can create.”
At the Japan Mobility Show 2025, Honda’s booth offered visitors not just a glimpse of new products, but an invitation to experience the excitement of a future where mobility knows no boundaries.
