Federal Land Brings New Energy to Marikina with Toyota Tamaraw Food Park and a New Football Field

Marikina Town Center, Federal Land’s estate in Marikina is kicking off the holiday season with something exciting for everyone, a brand-new football field built using FIFA standards and the launch of the Toyota Tamaraw Food Park, the newest hangout spot in the city.

These two additions bring fresh energy to the township and give families, foodies, and sports lovers more reasons to visit and celebrate this Christmas.

A Football Field for Play, Practice, and Community Fun

Sports fans have a new place to enjoy in Marikina: a 100×68-meter football field built using FIFA standards with bleachers that can seat up to 250 people. Whether you’re joining a friendly match, cheering for a local team, or simply looking for a place to stay active, the new turf is designed to become a hub for the community.

“With this new turf field, we hope to give Marikina a new space for sports and recreation and more importantly, a reason for people to come together as a community.” said Jose Mari Banzon, President, Federal Land.

A Food Park Full of Good Eats and Holiday Cheer

Just a few steps from the field, the Toyota Tamaraw Food Park, developed in partnership with Toyota Motor Philippines, is now open—featuring Tamaraw food truck conversions and a diverse mix of delicious local favorites. “We’re excited to bring this unique food park experience to Marikina Town Center, supporting local entrepreneurs while sharing the joy of food and community,” said Masando Hashimoto, President of Toyota Motor Philippines.

It’s the perfect spot to grab a bite after a game or enjoy a festive night out with family and friends. Nine food trucks were unveiled during launch day, with the initial lineup expected to rotate throughout the season, featuring:

  • Celebrity Chefs — Dishes by Karla Kusinera, Chef Sharwin Tee, and Chef Sai Montes, bringing elevated comfort food and crowd-pleasing flavors
  • Yahu! Kitchen — Home-style Filipino viands with bold, comforting flavors
  • Boynita — Local favorites packed with classic Filipino savor
  • Kusina ni Kambal — Everyday lutong-bahay specialties
  • Overflow Café — Coffee and hearty café snacks
  • Kape Talyer – crafted coffee and comfort bites
  • What’s poppin’ – flavorful comfort food

The food park is designed as a fun, accessible space for MSMEs and young entrepreneurs—and this concept will soon roll out to other Federal Land Communities.

More Holiday Fun with the NakakaLocal Food Fest

Adding to the excitement, the celebrations continue with the second run of the NakakaLocal Food Fest, a collaboration with PhilSTAR that champions Marikina’s beloved MSMEs and homegrown kitchens.
