VinFast Sets New Vietnamese Record with 100,000 Cars Sold in First Three Quarters of the Year

VinFast sets an “unprecedented” record of delivering more than 100,000 cars after only 3 quarters, when the products recorded overwhelming sales in each segment.

VinFast has achieved a new milestone – officially becoming the first car brand in the Vietnamese market to surpass the 100,000 vehicle sales mark after only the first 3 quarters of the year.

This comes as no surprise after 11 consecutive months of being known as THE “best-selling in Vietnam,” with an increasing market share that affirms VinFast’s dominant position in the domestic market.

Last September 2025, VinFast sold 13,914 electric cars of all kinds, bringing the cumulative total from the beginning of the year to the end of the third quarter to 103,884 cars, achieving unprecedented sales in the history of the Vietnamese automobile market.

VF 3 is the car with the highest sales in the Vietnamese car market after the first 9 months of 2025.

In particular, the best-selling model is still VF 3, known as the “national electric car model,” with a total of 31,386 cars sold in 9 months, of which 2,682 cars were sold in September 2025 alone.

VF 5 is a suitable choice for the majority of Vietnamese users thanks to its diverse functions.

Ranked second is VF 5, with 30,956 cars sold in the first 3 quarters of the year and 3,847 cars sold last month alone. The service-optimized version of VF 5, Herio Green, also reached 8,604 cumulative cars sold, of which 2,173 cars were sold in September alone.

VF 6 is the best-selling car in the B-SUV segment.

Furthermore, the third best-selling model of VinFast is VF 6, with 14,425 cars being sold since the beginning of the year, including 1,933 cars in September, with many orders still waiting to be delivered.

VF 7 also achieved impressive business results, being one of the most popular C-SUV models today with a cumulative 9-month sales of 5,877 vehicles and 778 vehicles sold in September.

Newcomer Limo Green “accelerated” its sales strongly after only 2 months of delivery to customers.

The 7-seat MPV model optimized for the Limo Green service business had a strong breakthrough in September, reaching the top of the segment with 2,120 vehicles delivered to customers.

With the peak business months of the fourth quarter still ahead, production capacity has been expanded with two factories in Hai Phong and Ha Tinh, with expectations being high towards VinFast, as they reach for more impressive new records by the end of 2025.

Speaking about the breakthrough achievement after the first 9 months of the year, Ms. Duong Thi Thu Trang – Deputy General Director of Sales and Marketing of VinFast Globally said: “Behind the sales of more than 100,000 cars are millions of customers’ support and trust in VinFast. We are extremely grateful to consumers and committed to making continuous efforts to continue bringing more practical benefits to customers, thereby strongly promoting the green transformation in Vietnam.”

VinFast’s persistence in surpassing all foreign gasoline and electric car manufacturers for 11 consecutive months and becoming the first car manufacturer to achieve a record sales of 100,000 cars in the first 9 months of the year has affirmed its absolute No. 1 position in the Vietnamese market.

This is also a clear demonstration of the unprecedented rise of the Vietnamese automobile industry, when domestic automobile brands far surpass their international counterparts, becoming the first choice of many customers.

In particular, VinFast’s record sales are an important indicator that electric vehicles have become a mainstream consumption trend in Vietnam.

Overall, this trend not only ensures VinFast’s positive and sustainable business prospects but also affirms its ability to realize the goal of making Vietnam one of the leading countries in popularizing electric vehicles in the world in the near future.
